For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation.
Rainer Maria Rilke, from Letters to a Young Poet
Since 1904 when Rilke eloquently captured the challenges of relationships, little has changed. We need social connections yet struggle to balance the needs of those involved. Some find love and follow their feelings into marriage, parenthood, and adulthood. We may find meaning as we accept a higher purpose, but others, at some point, lose their personal identity. At times, this loss lies dormant beneath everyday life only to erupt years later at great cost to all those involved.
When we begin to discover the missing pieces of ourselves, an inspiring yet overwhelming transformation begins. There is so much to explore, learn, and change about the life we have led to this point. Our reflection in the mirror becomes that of someone we've known but whom no longer exists. Change touches every part of our life. And, we feel lost once again.
Where do we begin? How do we rebuild? Who are we? And, what is my soul purpose?
This is my story. A new horizon brimming with promise is breaking in your life. If you feel alone in your journey and value the knowledge and understanding experience offers, contact me for a consultation.
